2024 Vintage
Dubbed ‘the pinot noir of the Swartland,’ it’s made from 36 year old dry farmed grapes grown in the south of the Swartland. Cinsault, once relegated to the sidelines, as the parent of pinotage, has launched a comeback as the favored son of South Africa’s winelands.
Characteristically light in colour & low in tannin, there is a certain gentleness to this wine. A crunchy character with dark cherries, raisins, strawberries & minty tannins.

Tasting Notes: “Inspired by the freshness and fragrance of Beaujolais and made from 36 year-old dry farmed grapes grown in the South of the Swartland. Cinsault, once only an ancillary component, is on a comeback as one of the favored sons of the Swartland.
An exciting cherry colour! Raspberry & blueberry, with a smoky undertone on the nose. A mouth of red apple, cracked pepper, earth & diffused powdery tannins. Your new affable friend that opens up to reveal their intriguing complexity.”
